strayed birds of lost forest
totem of missing chant
wounded wings filled with alien soil
and evening equatorial waves
dye the feathers
it is the language of Islands and Continent,

with foreign dialect I say
questing the tribe of rain forest
alone we live, hunt,
stray, and run business
mourning
a life of sigh
